Uh-oh -- looks like I found another WIM! I think I like the look of the Summer stripes tank shown here -- Crochet! Contents -- a pattern from the new Crochet! magazine. Hm....

The shirt pattern I am crocheting is actually called Two Way Tee (it has a textured lace pattern) by designer Janet Rehfeldt. It comes from the book Crocheted Sweaters: Simple Stitches, Great Designs by Susan Huxley. I used my morning break to get 3 more rows on the bottom front completed.

Got a little knitting done last night - I worked a few rows on my garter stitch dishcloth. With all the rows I have done you'd think it would be finished by now... :) Actually, I made it wider than I should have, so it is going to end up rectangular when I finally run out of yarn on this ball of Peaches N Creme. I think I will take a contrasting color and crochet shells on either end to make it longer and even it out when I am done knitting.

Last night I got a few more rows done on my shirt - it is coming along nicely, and is about a quarter of the way completed. It is worked in four sections before finishing -- first the bottom front, then the top of that side, then the same for the back of the shirt. I think it is going to be a lot more blocky in fit than I'd hoped, but this is the first shirt I've ever tried so we'll see... :)

Oooooh, ooooooooooooooh - I just saw something to add to my Works In Minds (WIMs). A great knit shell at Berocco...the only problem is the patterns there all call for the Berocco yarns which get expensive. Well, I have a few more projects to finish first, anyway. :)

Just a note to start off my blog. Let's see -- I know I have at least 23 WIPs (mostly crochet, a couple knit and cross-stitch as well). One of these days I may get around to finishing them. The ones I am currently (actively) working on are:

I want to start some knit socks and a knit shell as soon as I finish up a couple of these works in progress... Only a month to go to my high school reunion and I want some of my own knit/crochet clothes to wear! :)
