Help!
I'm being attacked by seaweed!!!Seriously, though, who thought this was cute? I realize we all have different tastes in fashion, but this one screams murky swamp camoflauge.
In other news, I'm off for a choral trip to Wales tomorrow -- and tomorrow is also my four-year bloggiversary!! I know I don't do many contests, but here's one in honor of the auspicious occasion...
Contest Alert! Leave a comment with a link to your favorite celtic cabled or fair-isle pattern with pics (even better if it is something you've done!). Entries must be made by July 15th, at which time I'll pick a winner at random. The prize pack will include two skeins of Koigu Painter's Pallette Premium Merino and perhaps some other goodies I'll drop in the box. Cheers!

So far my favorite is the Kepler.
Here's a blurry picture of one I knit.
The last one I finished,

Oops, sorry I messed that so badly.
Luskentyre
My favorite completed Celtic knit so far has been Samus from Knitty. The intricate waistband makes a "plain" cardy spectacular! I did mine in purple, but would definitely do a lighter color if I did another one (and I might).
Here is a picture.
I'm totally in love with my token AS sweater ;)

Scroll down to the Celtic Dreams sweater. I think it is very lovely. I've never knit cables or fair isle before, but hope to someday.
I love Eris from the "girl from auntie"
