I highly recommend...
...the movies Shanghai Knights and How To Lose a Guy in 10 Days. SK is good "kung-fu" action, but I do not recommend it for kids. How To is full of so many laughs, I think I pulled a muscle. :D
Saturday I finished the first one of a pair of Emily's garter stitch booties. It came out very cute, and the color of the cotton yarn coordinates very well with my BSS! I also started (and subsequently frogged) a shawl from that luscious red Adorata I was given. I shall start it again this week, I think, but this time I will be careful not to drop a stitch down to the cast-on row. Heh.
Right now, I am working on a mindless project - a simple stockingette stitch roll brim hat, in this superb pni shade of Paton's Katrina, which is a worsted weight with amazing stretch. It should be done this week, I think.
