So you want a few pics...

Well, I was going to give you a mini tour of the trip as kind of a teaser for the website I am working on, but my laptop battery is low so I will have to leave you with just a couple of photos (sorry, Lisa!).

When we got to Leipzig the first night, it was pretty late and of course most of the shops were closed, save the ones in the train station. On the way there, I spotted this ad:

...and silliness like that pretty much set the tone for the trip. A fabulous time was had by (almost) all - and from our first concert to our last it was an experience I'll never forget. Here's a shot from the very first informal (no formal dress) concert in Leipzig:


Who's the chick in the stripey shirt?


The more traveled of our visitors might note that we are standing in front of Bach's tomb in the Thomaskirche. It's a beautiful church that has much historic significance (even Luther preached there!) and the sun was shining so magnificently that day that I even managed to get a few shots of the stained glass.
