Tune Crimes and a Dilemma
First, the tune crimes: "Believe it or not, I'm walking on air - never thought I could feel so free..."
Heh - last night I was over at the LYS and Karly and I started humming theme songs to old shows. I think I surprised her a bit, though, as I can actually remember all the words to the songs! I miss some of the old 80s shows.
Now, the dilemma: should I make this coat? It is sooo pretty, but it would take 15 skeins of Silk Garden for the larger size. Of course, I do need to finish a few things on the needles (and loom) before I think about starting this, but it is so YUM. So, I am asking for feedback - should I make it? Do you think it will be too warm for Texas? Do you have suggestions on a similar patterning yarn to substitute that may be a little less heavy?
