How to Make Dinner for a Month Without Really Trying

...or, one hour and at least 12 meals later...

Tonight a co-worker and I checked out Super Suppers. You pay for the number of meals you want (each one serves four to six - or more - and can be split up into halves; the two of us split a six-pack) and assemble the prepared ingredients at workstations set up with directions and everything you need. In an hour, we'd both made six half-pans of three different menu choices and shared the ones we wanted. Then we were done! If this food tastes half as good as everything did while preparing it, I'll be in heaven for the rest of the month. This will also encourage me to eat at home more rather than snagging fast food on the go.

In knitting news (oh yes, I have been knitting) I have a bunch of pictures to share...except I have to find the roll of film to develop most of them. BUT I do have one photo taken on my digital camera (gotta remember to keep the small one in my purse). This is a hat and bootie set I started at the end of September, finishing the socks mid-October. The patterns are mine, done on the fly, and the yarn is Omega Sinfonia.

Cute, no?

I took quite a lot of photos at the UT versusslaughtered Kansas game on Saturday, and I'll get them up on my photoblog sometime this week. Maybe. I promise. :)

Oh...and since it seemed kind of fun - feel free to Frappr your spot for me. :)
