What I've been up to...

...this weekend, I discovered that I am no longer half my age. Heh. Well, really, I knew that I'd have a hard time keeping up with the high school students who went on the Glorybound trip. We had a really good time, though. Between all the stories and Bible lessons and mischief (mainly on the part of the aforementioned teenagers), I think the kids all grew quite a bit closer together, and I got to spend some time with some of the youth that I don't often get to as part of my Sunday School kids.

Caedmon's Call was the worship band, and I would just like to note that they were AWESOME! This is a band I've enjoyed for a few years, and I was excited to see they were headlining the conference.


...and yes, on the trip down I got some knitting done. I redid the portion of the popcorn scarf that I had torn out completely last weekend at V's.

Hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving as well - L and her sister (and roommate) were kind enough to have me over for the meal. We ate, we drank, we watched silly movies, we knit --- it was great. I actually finished a project, too: a scarf made from Squiggle and Faure in shades of red and orange. Nice and fluffly and wild, and eventually I'll get a picture added to my photo album.
