Unnecessary stress
Sometimes you're waiting for that other shoe to drop. And waiting...and waiting... Little things happen, that let you know that the laces are untied, but you have no way of knowing whether that shoe is going to bop you in the head or not. So here I am at 2 in the morning, unable to get any sleep simply because the shoe is hovering - and the main source of my stress is sadly enough an email that I should have but have not yet received. Argh.
I did knit some earlier, and did breathing exercises, watched some television, got out and walked, did crossword puzzles and various other things in the attempt to either distract myself or shut off my brain. Somewhere in there I did snooze for a couple hours, so at least I got SOME sleep. Breathe in, breathe out.
....and an aside to the person looking for the cloak pattern: I found it by Googling knit cloak patterns, but I never ended up making it. I cannot locate the link any longer, sorry. If you comment as anonymous, I cannot email you back.
