Finishing Frenzy
My little fingers are about worn off! Okay, so maybe I exaggerate a teensy bit. I did, however, finish two upside-down shawls yesterday -- one from Patons Twister that I started a few weeks ago from donated yarn for the Prayer Shawl ministry, and the other from the Pizzazz that I started this past weekend. All I need to do is weave in the ends. I also started (and finished) a Habu fringe tape choker on Saturday that I don't think I mentioned -- but I was giving a class on how to make them, so that's really no surprise. :)
My take on Patons Twister -- UGH! The chenille part of the yarn keeps twisting out and away from the boa, causing larger than normal "worms". Since the chenille is an obviously lighter yarn, this sticks out quite a bit. :( As part of the finishing for this shawl, I am going to work to get those worms back into the fabric. I really don't think I'll use the Twister for any other projects, even though the finished shawl is very fun and perfect for a young girl who wants to play dress-up.
